EXPERIENCE:

United States Army | Irving, Texas | August 2012 - Present

Army Recruiter/Recruiting Support Team

·   Worked on a team consisting of 11 recruiters.

·   This team performed in the top 10% of all recruiting centers in the Unites States, achieving 99% of assigned mission in FY 2013.

·   Primary responsibilities included building and maintaining an applicant database, performing criminal and medical background checks, transporting all applicants to and from all appointments, and maintaining log books and maintenance records on 5 GSA fleet vehicles.

 

United States Army | Fort Riley, Kansas | May 2010 - August 2012

Combat Engineer NCO (Team/Squad Leader)

·   Responsible for leading teams of up to twelve (12) people.

·   Trained teams to maintain combat readiness for a variety of missions world-wide.

·   Training included techniques for clearing paths and roadways of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s).

·   Successfully raised teams average physical fitness score from an 83% to a 90%, exceeding the Army standard of 60%.

 

United States Army | Afghanistan | May 2010 - April 2011

Combat Engineer NCO (Team Leader)

·   Led a six man team on over 100 missions, both mounted and dismounted.

·   Cleared over 600 miles of paths and roadways of IED’s without injury or loss of life within the team.

·   Performed demolition operations, overseeing more than 6,000lbs of demolition emplacement without any misfires.

·   Member of a four man team that trained to maintain combat readiness for a variety of mission’s world-wide.

·   Responsible for maintaining the teams vehicle, ensuring that it is always fully mission capable.

·   Maintained a company level warehouse.

·   Responsible for ensuring that proper inventory levels were maintained.
